18th Annual Robert Geronemus Memorial Renal Research Competition

The Florida Society of Nephrology is pleased to announce our continued support of Nephrology Residents and Fellows in Florida, as well as our ongoing recognition of a distinguished leader in our field.

The 18th Annual Robert Geronemus Memorial Renal Research Competition will take place during the 2026 FSN Annual Meeting, January 16-18, 2026 at the Hilton West Palm Beach.

The Program Committee will select the two finalists to present their research during the Annual Meeting. The FSN will provide accommodations and prize money for the finalists. Residents/Fellows not chosen as a finalist will be provided an opportunity to display their research in poster format during the conference.

The Florida Society of Nephrology invites PGY2 and 3 Internal Medicine Residents as well as Nephrology fellows in Florida training programs to submit their research for consideration in the Geronemus Research Competition.

Housing Information

The meeting will be held at the Hilton West Palm Beach, 600 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL. Room reservations should be made directly with the Hilton. The cut-off date for our group block is Thursday, December 24, 2025. Please ensure you are offered the group rate of $369 per night, plus taxes and fees.

The booking website and group code will be provided once you have completed your registration. While FSN has secured a block of rooms, availability cannot be guaranteed once the block is sold out. Rooms may sell out before the cut-off date, so we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as your participation is confirmed.
