On September 28, H.R. 3967, a bill to create care management demonstration programs for chronic kidney disease (CKD), was introduced in the U.S. House by Reps. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), George Holding (R-NC), G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), and Linda Sanchez (D-CA). The bill is intended to improve CKD early detection and treatment. There is currently no Senate companion for the legislation. RPA is evaluating the bill's provisions.
