FSN Committee Structure


Advocacy Committee 
Charged with working with staff, FSN’s contract lobbyist, and FSN PAC Leadership to create and execute an advocacy agenda for the organization and monitoring legislation and regulatory proposals that will impact the practice of Nephrology. This Committee is responsible to maintaining key relationships with other organizations and stakeholders including the RPA, ASN, NKFF, and FRAA.

Women in Nephrology Committee
Charged with creating networking and educational opportunities that resonate with women practicing in the field of Nephrology.

Program Committee
Charged with planning and implementation of the FSN Annual Meeting and Regional Dinner Meetings throughout the year.

Regional Programs Subcommittee
Charged with planning and implementation of the 2-3 Regional Dinner Meetings that the FSN hosts throughout the year.

Grand Rounds Subcommittee
Charged with pursuing opportunities for FSN to host a virtual grand round speaker for all of the nephrology programs each quarter.

Communications
Charged with working with FSN staff to enhance and monitor impact of our various communications channels.

Podcast Subcommittee
Charged with working with staff to identify content and recording quarterly podcasts for distribution to the membership.

Nephrology Workforce & Fellows Grant Committee

Charged with promoting opportunities to support efforts to promote the profession of nephrology to medical students and residents. Manage the relationship with the University of Miami KIIMERA program. Charged with administering the Fellows Grant program including communications with the participating programs and encouraging Fellows to register to participate.

Artificial Intelligence Task Force
Charged with leading the FSN in the review and recommendation of AI tools that will enhance clinical practice and administrative efficiencies for the membership.
