- Editorial Board Membership: He also plays a significant role as an Editorial Board member for prestigious journals, including Kidney International and Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology. Additionally, Dr. Barratt contributes his expertise as a member of the Kidney Research UK Grants Committee.
- Clinical Study Group Leadership: Dr. Barratt co-chairs the UK Glomerulonephritis Clinical Study Group and led the IgA nephropathy component of the recent revision of the KDIGO Clinical Practice Guidelines for Glomerular Diseases.
