Housing Information
The 2025 Annual Meeting will be held at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa. Information on how to qualify for our group rate housing rate will be provided by email upon meeting registration.
Our group rate is $289 per night,
plus taxes and fees. The cut-off date to book in our group block is December 27, 2024.
17th Annual Robert Geronemus Memorial Renal Research Competition
The Florida Society of Nephrology is pleased to announce our continued support of Nephrology Residents and Fellows in Florida, as well as our ongoing recognition of a distinguished leader in our field. The Program Committee will select the two finalists
to present their research during the Annual Meeting. The FSN will provide accommodations and prize money for the finalists. Residents/Fellows not chosen as a finalist will be provided an opportunity to display their research in poster format during
the conference. The Florida Society of Nephrology invited PGY2 and 3 Internal Medicine Residents as well as Nephrology fellows in Florida training programs to submit their research for consideration in the Geronemus Research Competition.
CME Accreditation This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Dade County Medical Association and The Florida Society of Nephrology. The Dade County Medical Association is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Dade County Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. MOC Accreditation Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 5.0 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Some additional information is required for accreditation and we will be asking for your American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) #, Birth Month, and Birth Day. Please try to make a note of this information so we can complete the necessary paperwork to submit your points. In order to earn MOC credits, attendees will need to successfully pass the Knowledge Assessment for each lecture that has been approved for MOC credit. The Assessment will be delivered by the at the conclusion of each talk listed below. Each passed Assessment will earn the attendee credit building up to the maximum of 5.0 MOC credits.
